About

We are not a moving company that also stores things

A crate of custom millwork is not freight. It has the longest lead time on the project, no replacement date if it breaks, and a client who will see it every day for twenty years. It should not be handled by people whose job is measured in pallets moved per hour.

Who we work for

Interior designersHigh-end homeownersFurniture suppliersCommercial clients

Most of our work arrives through designers, and most of it is residential. The pieces are usually one of a kind, frequently late, and almost always needed on a date somebody else set.

What we believe about the job

Three things, and they are the reason the systems we build look the way they do.

Damage is found, not reported

Nobody tells you a crate is damaged. You find out because someone opened it within two days and looked properly. Everything about how we receive is arranged around making that happen while a claim is still possible.

A number that changes is a number that lies

Ten chairs that became four delivered are not four chairs. They are ten chairs, six of which are still ours to look after. We keep the movement rather than overwriting the total, because the pieces that go missing are the ones a system stopped counting.

The client should not have to ask

The question we used to get most was "has it arrived yet". It is a reasonable question and it should never need to be asked. Everything we hold is online, photographed on the day it landed.

The expensive failures in this business are never dramatic. They are a mirror nobody can find and an install date that moves.

How we think about the job

Tell us what is coming

The earlier we know, the less of it you have to think about.
